About the event

Join a panel of experienced mental health professionals who regularly work with families involved in the family court system who will share key insights on strengthening collaboration across disciplines so that legal, financial, and mental health professionals can better support families—and keep children out of the middle of ongoing court disputes.

The panel will provide practical guidance on drafting clearer and more effective court orders that support therapeutic progress, navigating communication with mental health professionals while honoring confidentiality and privacy guidelines, and understanding the appropriate roles and boundaries of therapists working with court-involved families. Panelists will also share strategies for recognizing when clinical intervention can de-escalate high-conflict dynamics before they become prolonged litigation.

The panel will consist of Toby Beach, LMSW, Lauren Blake, MA, LMFT, Douglas Park, PhD, Katharine Weston, MA and Jordana Wolfson, LMSW.
